Counselling is a space where you can talk openly and honestly, without judgement or pressure. It’s a supportive relationship that helps you understand yourself more deeply, make sense of difficult feelings and find new ways of moving forward.
It’s a collaborative process where we work together to make sense of what has happened, or is currently happening in your life, and work towards the changes or understanding that you’re seeking.
It can often feel difficult to express our feelings and thoughts to loved ones without fearing that it may cause difficulties in that relationship. Counselling provides an impartial space, outside of that circle, allowing you the freedom to talk about anything you need to.
I offer 50 minute sessions for counselling and psychotherapy, usually at the same time on a weekly basis, although bi-weekly sessions may be available. This can take place in-person in Frome or Trowbridge, online via Microsoft Teams, or over the phone.

I am experienced in supporting adults with a wide range of issues that may be impacting your day-to-day life, including:
“We are not what happened to us, we are what we wish to become.”
Carl Jung
1. Get In Touch
This can often feel like the hardest part, so you can either complete the enquiry form or send me an email – whatever feels right for you. I’ll reply as soon as I can, and we can take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
2. Free Initial Call
In this free 30‑minute call we can explore what’s bringing you to counselling. It’s a chance for you to ask questions, get a sense of how I work, and decide together whether we’re a good fit – with no obligation to continue.
3. Confirmation
If you’d like to go ahead and begin counselling, we’ll go ahead and agree on a time, day and start date. I’ll then send a counselling contract for you to read through, make sure you’re happy, then sign and return.
4. 8+ Sessions
I ask for a minimum commitment of 8 sessions. This helps us create the consistency needed for meaningful therapeutic work, while still giving you space to decide whether the approach feels right for you.
